We are Chris & Louise Smullen, a young (ish!) couple from the UK with a love & passion for beautiful Bequia.
After travelling to more than 50 countries around the world (including more than a dozen Caribbean islands) our search for perfection was over when we first set foot on Bequia in 2015.
We have since realised our dream to live on the most beautiful island on earth.
After a character-building remodel & renovation of the entire property & grounds (which took over 14 months), we hosted our first guests in January 2019. It's been so rewarding to meet wonderful, like-minded people from all over the world who have chosen to visit our little piece of paradise and provide such encouraging feedback and positive reviews!

Aside from owning The Lookout Villa & Apartments, we are the property managers at an award-winning private estate on Bequia.
We have been visiting the island since 2015 and have lived on this little rock on a full-time basis since 2017.
It's our pleasure (and a nice hobby in our spare time!) to experience all the local shops, restaurants, hikes, boat trips etc. You name it, we've more than likely done it. After all, how can we recommend the best "things to do" when we haven't tried them out for ourselves!?
